Berkel – USA Canada Model 7 green

The Meat slicer U.S.Berkel model 7 was built in the period 1926 to 1932 in the factory of La Porte – Indiana and in Toronto – Canada. The Meat Slicer U.S.  Model 7 is the second-largest produced at the U.S. Slicing Machine La Porte Indiana, and uses many features of the U.S. Berkel model B. The slicer model 7 U.S. take a blade of 330 mm.

The Meat slicer U.S.Berkel model 7 was built in the period 1926 to 1932 in the factory of La Porte – Indiana and in Toronto – Canada. The Meat Slicer U.S.  Model 7 is the second-largest produced at the U.S. Slicing Machine La Porte Indiana, and uses many features of the U.S. Berkel model B. The slicer model 7 U.S. take a blade of 330 mm. and a has a slice thickness adjustment of 13 positions and use the same sharpener used on the second version of the U.S. mod. B. The U.S. Berkel mod. 7 is working by a flywheel closed with a diameter of 294 mm. decal with the words in U.S. Slicing Machine Co La Porte Ind. and was produced in red and green, the metal parts were originally chrome. The Slicing Machine U.S.  mod. 7 has a total of 750 mm. length 550 mm. width and 530 mm. height and needs a support of 210 mm. width 420 mm. The Slicing Machine U.S. model 7 has a total weighs of 63 kgs. The restoration is carried out in the laboratories of "The World's Best Slicers" respecting the principle of conservation of the parts. Providing for the disassembly and recovery without any replacement of the worn or broken pieces, carrying out a carryover of material by welding and subsequent milling or turning of the pieces in order to bring them back to their original dimensions and their functionality. For the missing parts, original spare parts acquired from the production plants or incomplete slicers are used. The painted parts, which were first stripped by cryo-stripping and carefully prepared, are painted using new generation paints that comply with health and pollution regulations and reformulated in the correct shade of color used in the past. The decorations are strictly performed through the application of copal paint decals, avoiding any type of mystification, such as airbrush decorations, stickers or any other type of fantasy decoration.
