The flywheel slicer Berkel model Cadet was produced in the factory of Berkel's & Parnall's in London - England in the period from 1939 to 1940. This is a very special and very rare slicer with the particularity of having the flywheel fixed in the right side of the machine body and with an almost direct fixation with the blade of 319 mm. diameter. The blade sharpener is placed on the upper right side of the slicer and resembles the shape of the Berkel model NL . In the lower front part, where we normally find positioned the flywheel, there is the knob for adjusting the thickness of the slice at 16 positions. The slicer Berkel model Cadet has a cutting capacity in width of 250 mm. in height of 150 mm. and in length of 267 mm. The Berkel model Cadet has a total space of 670 mm. in length - 450 mm. in width and 515 mm. in height. Requires 570 mm support. in length and 375 mm. in width. The Berkel model Cadet flywheel slicer is one of the rarest flywheel slicers produced by Berkel in the British factories.
